
<p>James McCaffrey, renowned for his exceptional voice portrayal of the iconic character Max Payne, has sadly departed at the age of 65.</p>



<p>In addition to his work on the Max Payne series, James McCaffrey also lent his voice to various other games. He portrayed Edward Carnby in the 2008 game Alone in the Dark, Zachariah Trench in Remedy&#8217;s Control, and most recently voiced the character of Alex Casey in <a href="http://gamerode.com/tag/alan-wake-2/">Alan Wake 2</a>.</p>

<p>James McCaffrey, a well-known actor, made a brief appearance in the 2008 film adaptation of Max Payne. He is also recognized for his starring roles in popular American television shows such as Vipers and Rescue Me.</p>



<p>TMZ has reported that James McCaffrey, a well-known individual, unfortunately, lost his life on the 17th of December due to a battle with multiple myeloma. On Instagram, actor Kevin Dillon expressed his admiration for James McCaffrey during the early hours of today.</p>



<p>Remedy expressed their condolences for the loss of James McCaffrey on the social media platform X. The developer posted a heartfelt message on the official Alan Wake account, expressing their deep sadness and acknowledging McCaffrey as a cherished friend and collaborator. Sam Lake, the creative director at Remedy, also shared his thoughts, describing McCaffrey as a delightful person to work with.</p>
