
<p>Following the impressive reception of <a href="https://gamerode.com/tag/no-more-heroes/">No More Heroes</a>, Grasshopper Manufacture embarked on the creation of a sequel which hit the market a few years later.</p>



<p>This installment carries on the narrative of the captivating and morally questionable protagonist, Travis Touchdown. </p>



<p>However, it is worth noting that this particular game in the series does not have the original director at the helm.</p>



<p>Luckily, <a href="https://gamerode.com/tag/no-more-heroes-2/">No More Heroes 2 </a>received positive feedback, with some reviewers even favoring it over the first installment.</p>



<p>The game was commended for its unique and improved gameplay compared to its predecessor. However, it does have its flaws, such as subpar graphics in certain areas and excessive repetition of certain voice lines.</p>

<p>Taking place three years after the events of the first game, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle continues the franchise&#8217;s game design in a natural progression. </p>



<p>The combat in No More Heroes 2 is largely similar to its predecessor, with the exception of a new feature that allows players to switch between beam katanas during combat. </p>



<p>Additionally, the cumbersome overworld from the previous game has been replaced with a more streamlined menu-based fast travel system. </p>



<p>While some may argue that the combat doesn&#8217;t undergo enough changes, overall it still provides a satisfying gameplay experience. If you enjoyed the first No More Heroes game, you&#8217;ll likely enjoy this sequel as well.</p>

<p>In order to unlock the Memory Of Demon ability from the original No More Heroes game, players must play mini-games to reduce Jeane the cat&#8217;s weight to less than 11 pounds. </p>



<p>Once unlocked, this ability allows players to perform a powerful slash attack by shaking the Nunchuk. </p>



<p>However, it is important to note that using this move consumes more energy from the beam katana than usual.</p>

<p>If Travis&#8217; health is depleted and he starts to lose balance, you can save him from dying by vigorously shaking the Wii-mote and Nunchuk. This action will restore a small portion of his health. </p>



<p>However, it&#8217;s important to note that this can only be done up to five times and will not work if Travis is already lying on the ground when his health runs out.</p>

<p>During the loading screen of No More Heroes 2, you can enhance the spinning speed of the star surrounding Travis&#8217; head by repeatedly tapping the B button. The more you tap, the faster the star will spin.</p>

<p>To unlock some helpful bonuses in No More Heroes 2, follow these steps in Job 7: &#8220;Getting Trashed&#8221;. On Stages 3 and 4, gather all the trash and bring it back to the ship, leaving just one piece outside the shuttle bay doors. </p>



<p>To trigger the bonus, intentionally die by crashing into the planet or suffocating. When you resume the game, collect the remaining piece of trash to receive a time bonus. This trick can earn you over 20,000 points in Stage 3 and nearly 100,000 points in Stage 4.</p>
