However, instead of the Job system seen in Final Fantasy 5, Final Fantasy 6 introduces a new concept called Espers and Magicite. </p>



<p>Espers are powerful creatures capable of using magic, and they can transform themselves into crystals known as Magicite. When players equip these Magicite crystals, they gain access to magic spells and can enhance their character&#8217;s abilities. </p>



<p>Additionally, they can summon the soul of the Esper contained within the Magicite for powerful summon spells. This system allows every character to learn all the magic available in the game, but each character also possesses unique abilities. As a result, Final Fantasy 6&#8217;s battle system strikes a balance between the gameplay mechanics of the fourth and fifth installments of the series.</p>
